Buckets & Borders is proud to partner with the Regina Food Bank and Leopold’s Tavern to build an official 3x3 outdoor basketball court at the new Community Food Hub in summer 2024.
The Community Food Hub is the first of its kind, offering all clients food choice and includes a gathering space with an outdoor garden, play structure and basketball court in downtown Regina.
The students of Thompson School contributed to naming the court “The Kitchen”.
The artwork displayed on the basketball court will be designed in collaboration with the students of Thompson Community School and a local Regina artist.
The Call for Artists is officially live as of Tuesday, April 23rd. Submissions must be entered by 5PM on Friday, May 24th. The link for submissions can be found in the Buckets & Borders Instagram bio.
