Lu’s Homecourt

As part of our UNIFIED partnership with Canada Basketball and collective initiative to build courts and tell basketball stories across the nation, B&B and CB teamed up with NBA and Canadian National Team player Luguentz Dort to restore Lu's home court and to tell part of Montréal-Nord's basketball story.

The two court project was completed in summer 2024, prior to Lu’s Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Montréal based artist, Olivier Lwambwa, was selected to complete the artwork on the court. Oliver, a Montréal local of Congolese origin, is a multidisciplinary artist with background in sneaker and clothing design.

Olivier worked closely with Lu and a local youth group to envision a court that represented “A Place to Dream”.
